every month we review peer nominations about employees who best
represented our 4 core values. After reviewing all the nominations, the
four people who demonstrated the highest levels of transparency,
ownership, learning to earn, and celebrating the small successes are
recognized at our monthly employee meeting with a $50 gift card and
special parking for an entire month. |

employees are encouraged to express their educational interests whether
it is through books, seminars, workshops, guest speakers, etc. And it’s
not just ways to improve at work; the topic vary from ways to improve
health, exercise, nutrition, spiritual, personal relationships, finance
and wealth management, communication, team building, etc. the dsu
provides educational material to improve areas in both inside and
outside of work. Employees are also encouraged to participate in Living Your Best Year Ever classes, which is led by employees who have completed the book. |

does the music in your work environment entertain you? Everyday
employees have the opportunity to be the DJ for the day and control the
music selection and playlist for the work environment. The music can
change within minutes because everyone has different taste in music. Not
only does the music entertain us, but it’s how we get our energy.

ever wish you had an area where you could escape your work for just 15
or 30 minutes? That is why we created the driversselect.com social
lounge. The lounge is an area where driversselect.com employees can come
together, relax, unwind, or challenge one another to Xbox360, pool, or
other games. What is so unique about the driversselect.com social lounge
is that it is totally created by employees. Employees are encouraged to
find time each day to take a break and recharge, even if it’s just
going to the lounge for coffee.

ds Food Break -
Each week employees are provided with meals from various restaurants.
Sometimes it’s breakfast from Chick-fil-a, a nice lunch from Maggianos,
dessert from Norma’s Cafe or a large supply of energy drinks and candy
for a mid-afternoon sugar buzz. A team of employees decide which
restaurants to order from and create the monthly menu. Every now and
then a guest chef will take over the menu and decide what to feed their
co-workers. Some people like to cook the meals and serve their fellow
employees a home cooked meal. We probably won't be awarded the
healthiest company in America this year but it is always something
different every day.

Give back to the community -
Each month our employees are given the opportunity to participate in
various charitable activities. Some prefer to donate their money and
other prefer to donate their time; here at driversselect.com we
encourage both types of donations. Previous activities include:
-volunteering at The North Texas Food Bank
-collecting books for DISD elementary children
-bringing in canned goods to support North Dallas Shared Ministries
-donating used desktop computers to local nonprofits
-collecting toys and clothes to benefit children in need
-throwing birthday parties for children in shelters

No one likes to go to a boring day of work, so at driversselect we
celebrate every day with weekly contests, daily competitions, dodgeball,
scavenger hunts, fantasy leagues, and so much more! We’ll have daily
contests such as jump roping, hula hoop, and karoake contests so
employees have the opportunity to win gift cards just about everyday.
We’ve even given away a few iPads for our monthly contests. But what’s
most important is that we highlight the feedback that our customers
provide about their buying experiences. Receiving customer feedback is
important to us because we want to know what we’re doing right and what
we could improve on in each experience. Each week we choose our employee
rockstars that go over and beyond to make sure that our customers have a
great experience with us.

Our consultants spend the majority of their time interacting with customers over the phone, web chat, and email - our objective is to complete as much of the sales and financing process as is possible before the customer comes to the showroom.
